Wow- uniquely delicious! I received three fruits in the shipment. One began shedding "scales" within 24 hours of delivery; all of three were shedding within 48 hours. I tried a taste of the ripest fruit and the flavor did not disappoint. Similar to cherimoya, without the cloying sweetness, but retaining the mix of tropical flavors. Don't get me wrong, I love cherimoyas, but as an adult their sweetness can overpower the other flavors... These, on the other hand, have none of that, and are easier to eat as well.

I received 2 huge Monstera fruits. One was already beginning to ripen, so I put them both on a paper plate & sat them on my kitchen counter. When it scales began to fall off, I took my 1st spoonful. An explosion of tart/sweet fruit covered my tongue, & I was transported to a Tropical oasis of Paradise!! I would describe this as the flavor of Juicy Fruit chewing gum, but with a tart zing, that is almost electric! You have to try this! The black specs of oxalic Acid weren’t a problem for me while I ate it. I do however recommend drinking more water then usual when you eat it. If not, as with citrus fruits, it could sting a little when you relive yourself if you don’t tolerate highly acidic fruit. Other then that, it is Amazing, & I will buy it again.

My monsters was finally ready to eat after a week after delivery. It was worth the wait. I let it sit in the window, and checked it daily. Then today I was blessed to monsters crumbles. It tasted like a banana mango Creme pie with a hint of sangria wine lol

Tried many fruits before and this is my new favorite. Delicious! Tastes like a combo of mango, soursop, and pineapple. MAKE SURE to only eat when scales of fruit fall off by themselves (see photo). Eating unripe can irritate your mouth, throat, and stomach. I put in a plastic container and covered with plastic wrap and it ripened perfectly after a few days!
